About Raisha Tibetan Spaniels

Dogs have always been part of my life, my parents and my second cousin bred and showed dogs and so it was only natural that I would eventually do the same.

Me in the hat and below keeshond pups bred by my parents.

Below isĀ Anna , my parents donated Anna to the Guide Dog Association in the early sixties. The photo of Anna in her harness was given to my parents when she graduated.

Raisha Tibetan Spaniels was established in 1992 when a beautiful particoloured puppy came into our lives, we called her Kira. At Kira’s first show she won Best Baby Puppy In Group and that was only a start of things to come. She was titled at 12 months and went on to win In show and In group awards. Kira’s show career was cut short at 3 years old after an accident but, her daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren have made her proud by following in her footsteps.

Raisha is a small kennel and we only breed the occasional litter. We live on 2 acres in Murrumbateman NSW Australia.

We are very proud of our dogs, they have achieved BIS, RUBIS, BIG, In group, In show awards, and Royal BOBs and RUBOBs.

A BIG thank you to Buquet (Lucky, Kitsi & Gertie), Byrebaer (Khat,Tazz, Pash), Khyisenge (Saab), Kulhakangri (Kira) and Toreana (Boot) for allowing these dogs to live at Raisha.

A special thanks to Georgina Smith (BYREBAER) for showing her Raisha Tibbies, Floyd, Fudge and Casper to their Australian Championship titles.
